“Garadagh Cement” OJSC continues to support Azerbaijani culture

“Garadagh Cement” OJSC celebrates its 10th anniversary year with specific activities in 2009. As one of these activities, the company financially supported the publication of “Selected Works” book of Sara Oguz Nazirova, the popular writer and art critic, in english language, thus contributing to the Azerbaijani culture.

The main aim of supporting the publication of the abovementioned book, is to demonstrate the Azerbaijani art, culture and traditions for English-language foreign citizens. The collection of plenty information on cultural issues, closeness to the people, and abundance of life stories, made the works of Sara Oguz Nazirova attractive for company, to support its publication. By getting familiar with the book, readers will feel that it is work of a master who stands on the crossing line of the different cultures and art.

With its unique style and touching life realities, this book will be a very important knowledge source about Azerbaijan for foreign readers.

It should be mentioned that, the presentation of this book was held on December 18, 2009, at Azerbaijan State Art Museum named after R.Mustafayev, located at Niyazi str, 9.
